L’auberge ensorcelée (The Bewitched Inn) (1897)

After a small mishap at work tonight, I got let out early so I chose to spend my downtime watching silent shorts from the first decade of the 20th century, one that I have previously ignored. But I cannot simply begin my list at 1912 while there are years and years of information and progress in film technology that are just being neglected!

This one was great, only two minutes long, Georges just bounces around his room at an inn that is “bewitched,” where his clothing and furniture keep disappearing before his eyes. Very funny, short and sweet.
